The watering hole provided more than just a nice drink or a bath for these two elephants. Kucheza is the Swahili word for “play,” and I felt like I was invited to play with them. Watching their playful banter was like being given a perfect gift. I could not have orchestrated a more beautiful, emotive moment than the one these elephants shared with me.
